The Pells run the marathon for their daughter Penelope.
Gemma & Jake Pell
My Story
On September 27th 2022 we became parents for the first time after Gemma delivered our beautiful baby girl, Penelope Ireland Pell. At just 22 weeks pregnant Gemma's waters broke early due to PPROM because of an undiagnosed infection despite many hospital visits. There was nothing that could be done to save our perfect girl as labour shortly followed and Gemma delivered Penelope. We then became part of a club nobody wants to be a part of, the bereaved parent club. After being discharged from the hospital, we were referred to various different charity's, the NHS actually gave us the details for Tommys and it was in that moment we knew that we wanted to do something to honour our daughter, for a charity. We picked Tommys. We want to raise money for parents just like us, in Penelope's memory. We also want to do something together, train together and unite for our daughter. Please help us reach our goal and do something to honour our beautiful daughters memory. All we want to do is make our daughter proud.
