About us

Founded 60 years ago by parents Elizabeth Fitzroy and John Williams, FitzRoy supports adults with learning disabilities to live the life they choose. This could be from simple tasks such as being able to make a cup of tea independently, to learning new skills to help involve them and be a part of their local community.

Our values guide us each step of the way and are as important now as when the charity first began.

Our vision is a society where people are treated as equals, regardless of their disability and our mission is to transform lives by supporting people with learning disabilities to lead the lives they choose.
