My Story

This April I will be running the London Marathon for Teenage Cancer Trust !

I will be running in memory of my childhood friend - Tom Gardner, who sadly passed away from liver cancer last January at the age of 21. 

I am running the marathon to raise awareness for this horrendous disease many teenagers and their families are battling. After growing up with Tom my whole childhood, losing him so suddenly was awful. Running for Tom has given me the motivation for my training - I’m not a regular runner but this has influenced me to help raise awareness and increase support for those going through cancer along with their families.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. Donations to Teenage Cancer Trust help with raising awareness and supporting young people with cancer before and after treatment and much more. Any donation can help to make a big difference.
