My Story

I’m joining the TradeKart team to take on the iconic challenge of the London Marathon and I’m raising as much money as I possibly can for the Outward Bound Trust, a charity that’s close to my heart and one that I’ve supported for the last 15 years.

This will be my first ever marathon and there’s a weird mix of anxiety and excitement as with any new challenge, especially as I’m not really built for long distance running!!

The Outward Bound Trust is an educational charity that inspires young people to believe they can be more than they ever thought possible. They use learning and adventure in the wild to challenge young people to never give up, to change their perspective and to learn the most important lesson: to believe in themselves.

Having spent a week at the OBT centre in Aberdovey, mentoring a class of 10yr olds from inner city Birmingham, I know from first hand experience the incredible impact these outdoor experiences can have so any support will be massively appreciated.
