My Story
I'm running in the 2023 TCS London Marathon as part of Epilepsy Society's Team Purple!
I have chosen Epilepsy Society as my charity as it is a charity that has a special meaning to my family and I. I am running in memory of my sister Mariam who sadly lost her life aged 19 years old as a result of epilepsy. She used to run half marathons with me and it was her dream to do the London marathon. I am now doing this in memory of her.
There are over 600,000 people in the UK living with epilepsy and I am running in support of Epilepsy Society who are the UK's only charity transforming the lives of people living with epilepsy through world-leading research, advocacy and care. Any donation you can give will help them to continue their incredible work and will spur me on throughout my training!
