My Story

I am running the London Marathon 2023 as part of the team for Headway Surrey. This is the first marathon I have ever run and I am privileged to be able to do it whilst fundraising for such an important charity.

Headway supports the families and survivors of those who have suffered brain injuries and trauma. They aim to not only provide this much needed support, but also to raise awareness of its consequences, and to promote improved care and assessment as well as campaign to reduce the incidence of brain injuries.

I would very much appreciate any support you can offer, no matter how big or small it may be. The next 5 months are going to be an intense training period to get back up to the fitness level needed for this race, and I will continue to post updates throughout my training.
