My Story

Hello everyone, and thank you for your support and donation.

Yes, in April I will be running the London Marathon (I must finally have gone mad). The charity Macmillan are one of the biggest charities in the UK, an extraordinary organisation that day in day out work tirelessly to support families when cancer sadly effects their loved ones. They supply specialist healthcare, financial information and general support and help when it’s needed the most.

In February 2021, I sadly lost my Dad to brain cancer and I have lost other family members to this horrendous disease, so I fully understand the pain that millions of other families go through. This is why I feel the support Macmillan gives is vital to the wellbeing of many many people, so when they accepted me to raise funds and run the Marathon for them, I was absolutely over the moon. Just to give something back to this amazing charity is an honour. As Macmillan says, no one should face cancer alone. Thank you so much to anyone who donates (and I may see you next April).
