Chiharu's Fundraising Page
Chiharu Sasaki (race no. 20950)
My Story
My name is Chiharu Sasaki. I live in London and started running in September 2021. After 1.5 years of running, I have decided to take on the challenge to run a marathon for the first time in my life.
Through my first marathon, I'm fundraising for the Rotary Club of Canary Wharf. Rotary Club of Canary Wharf fights against poverty through their projects such as:
supporting the people on a low income in Cape Town to gain financial stability through growing vegetables and fruits to sell, and helping homeless people around Westminster in London keep themselves warm by providing coats.
I have been lucky enough to be able to go to school, have a lot of food on the table, and have a place to sleep and keep myself warm in. I am empowered and I believe an empowered person should empower others who are in need of it.
So, please sponsor me to fight against poverty in partnership with the Rotary Club of Canary Wharf. Thank you very much for reading my page and for your support!
