My Story
This is a charity which is close to my heart as my father was severely burnt as a baby - he had burns on 75% of his body with extreme burns to his head, face, hands, arms and legs.
He underwent months of surgery, and later as an adult had corrective and plastic surgery. As an adult he has talked about how he felt as a child he did not get the physical or emotional support.
It is my honour to be running for the Children's Burns Trust, who offer rehabilitation support to burn injured children and direct support to their families.
