My Story

I am running the London Marathon for the first time in April for Scouts UK. I have been in Scouts all my life and so when the opportunity came up, to run the London marathon for Scouts I jumped at the chance!

As a child with severe asthma, Scouts had a big impact on my life as it built my confidence and pushed me to do things in life that I never would have before and to step out of my comfort zone. Working as a Scout leader today I still enjoy seeing young people develop and step up to challenges as I did.
