My Story

Well, as someone who has done no meaningful exercise for the best part of 25 years, no-one is more surprised than me to discover that I applied to enter the 2023 London Marathon, got a place, and will be taking part in it in just a few weeks time!

I've decided to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society because having recently lost my mother in law to this cruel disease, and seen how devastating it is for both the sufferers themselves and for their families, no family should have to go through this awful ordeal.

I'm also running to show my girls that anything is possible if you just put your mind to it!

I'd be grateful for any support and encouragement you can give me. I'll need it!
