My Story

On Sunday 23rd April 2023 I will be running the London Marathon in support of The British Heart Foundation and in memory of a kind, loving soul, Julie Ferguson. Julie was unaware of a heart disease and unfortunately passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 12th October 2022 at the young age of 57.

Julie leaves behind a family that loved her very dearly, her daughter Emma, her son Adam and her husband David who were together for over 35 years. At the time, Julie was very excited to be shortly become a grandmother for the first time. Unfortunately, Julie passed exactly one month before beautiful Addison was born.

I want to raise as much money as I can to help achieve game changing research and help achieve milestones that can change and save lives. I would also like to inspire others to do the same. If we work together we can stop the heart ache families have to go through when suffering similar losses.

Let’s make the world free of the fear of heart and circulatory diseases.

Thank you
