My Story

I'm running the 2023 London Marathon  for The Youth Sport Trust because without sport I would not be the person I am today. I started sport when I was 12 years old because I was diagnosed with asthma and the doctor told my parents that doing sport would develop my lungs. Since then I have practiced various sports such as football,  cycling, swimming, running, martial arts and since the last 5 years long distance triathlons. I am now 55vyears old and just recently retired from work. Doing sport for most of my life has allowed me to know myself,  discover my inner strength and physical limits as well as mentally. It has equipped me social skills by interacting with so many different people and there has been many sport people (amateurs and professionals athletes as well as coaches ) I've looked up to and be influenced by. For me supporting this worthwhile charity is a no-brainer and I invite everybody to check the charity 's website.

Thank you in anticipation for supporting me.
