My Story

I'm a keen runner and it has been an ambition of mine for some time to participate in the iconic London Marathon!

I also work for Leonard Cheshire and for the past three years have been managing an Assistive Technology pilot project to see how specialist communication devices, smart home technologies and other specialist assistive technologies can help people with disabilities to live, learn and work as independently as they choose. With a great multi discplenary team of therapists and technologists, we've developed personalised assesment processes and support structures including comprehensive training to ensure our work is right for the individual and sustainable.

Our pilot project in Cheshire is now expanding to cover another seven sites across the Northwest of England allowing us to refine our roll-out processes with the ambition of rolling this out nationally.
