My Story

So this April I am running the LONDON MARATHON🏅😅 Massive Bucket list thing for me so I am really excited, but really nervous also! 😬 Also I’d like to add, I’m definitely no athlete so unfortunately no records will be getting broken this year. 🥴 However I am still aiming to finish in a good time. 🤗

I am running in for DIABETES U.K. The reason I have chosen this charity is for my my Mum💓

Mum has been a type 1 diabetic for over 50 years (not sure how, because thought she was 25?🤔) which she received a medal for. I don't think people really know what diabetes actually is and how life changing living with diabetes can be. Honestly, I don't even know myself, I can't possibly imagine having to do some of the things my little Mum has to do on a day to day basis. I'm so proud of her for being so strong, and how brave she is everyday. ❤️

I know we are in the middle of a cost of living crisis but if you could even donate 50p or anything you can spare, that’d be great. I have a target of £2100 set by diabetes U.K. which is a massive amount of money, so if I get anywhere close to that figure it would mean the world 🌍 🙏🏽
