My Story

Welcome to my fundraising page! I will be running the London Marathon in support of the RNLI on 23 April 2023.

This is a charity close to my heart as my Grandpa was an avid supporter of the RNLI, my brother Scott currently volunteers with the Tighnabruaich Lifeboat and I'ce enjoyed many family holidays in North Berwick at our house next to the Lifeboat station there (often seeing the lifeboat in action). 

For anyone that knows me they'll know that I usually hate running but in training for this challenge I've been surprisingly enjoying it. My motivation for completing this challenge is the thought of celebrating my Dads birthday who would be turning 60 on 11 April and my Grandpa who would have turned 80 recently. Not to forget, 23 April is Mr Harry Conner's birthday so  I'll be crossing that finish line as quick as possible so that I can celebrate with him.
