My Story

Tommy's is a pregnancy charity working to make the UK the safest place in the world to give birth, supported by people who refuse to accept that a baby's death is just 'one of those things'.

During the summer last year, I had a "missed miscarriage", I’d booked an early scan around 9 weeks and was told the baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks, I didn't experience any symptoms of a miscarriage so this came as a huge shock. Once I opened up to people I realised how common it actually was and that people just don’t talk about it. I would like to help raise awareness and break the stigma around the subject and raise money for a charity that was so helpful during my loss. 

1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss – and most parents never find out why due to the lack of research. Tommy's helps fund vital research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, to help keep saving babies’ lives.
