My Story

UPDATE:

Wow what an experience. The London Marathon was better than I ever expected. All came together on the day, but having a reason to run, for my baby boy Louie was what I needed to get me around the 26.2 miles.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated, I appreciate money is extremely tight for everyone but any donations will be gratefully received to support other families.

----

I was lucky enough to secure a ballot place in the London Marathon 2023.

I want to use this opportunity to raise money for a charity that is close to my heart, Sands.

Sands supported Jamie and I when we lost our son Louie at 32 weeks pregnant in 2018.

Sands along with the Berevement team at Bedford Hospital supported us through the hardest 5 weeks until I gave birth to my twins Louie and Lottie at 37 weeks.

Sands provided a cold cot to enable us to spend time with both Louie and Lottie together. We received a memory box to enable us to create lots of memories of Louie and Sands continue to support us and other bereaved families through the loss of a child.

If I am able to fundraise to help provide another family with the care we receive, I will be ever grateful for you all, for supporting me.

Your sponsorship will give me an extra push to get out there and run in all weathers in preparation for the my first 26.2 miles!!
