My Story

As part of my bucket list of things I must do, running the London Marathon was one of them. However, having the opportunity to run the marathon and raise money for a charity that is often unheard of unless living with such a cruel disease, tops the bucket list dream.

Many people will know myself as loud, enthusiastic and constantly on the go. I have now started putting all this energy into my training, so you never know I may calm down a bit. Although wishful thinking! However, many of my close family and friends will also know this year has been challenging for myself medically. This has had a physical impact on my training, I have good days and bad days so my running plan may not be as consistent as everyone else, however my determination will be what sees me through to the finish line.

In both my job roles I put other people first to support them and make them safer and more confident in their homes and body. Therefore it’s time to put some time into my own training and my own health and smash this fundraising for Children’s Liver Disease Foundation.

Thanking you for all your support. Please come to cheer me along on Sunday, April 23rd. I will need it!  Hannah x
