My Story

Each year I watch the London Marathon and with some bizzare desire, no idea where this originates from as I despise running, I also wished to run this myself. After watching the London Marathon this year, I decided it was finally time to enter the ballot on the off chance that I may be selected. Needless to say, I was accepted. Despite the initial shock and disbelief of the reality of me actually having to run 26.2 miles, I have decided to run it for a charity which means a lot to so many. As soon as I got accepted I knew I wanted to run it for a charity which I've seen first hand the life-changing impact they can have on families and patients.

Before graduating and embarking my career as a paramedic, throughout my three years as a student paramedic at university, I witnessed the vitality of charities like the Air Ambulance of Kent, Surrey and Sussex and the immeasurable differences they make to those in their most vulnerable moments. The understanding of the importance of the work of this charity has inspired me to run the London Marathon to raise funds to support the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance in making a difference to the lives of those in need.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and would mean the absolute world.
