My Story

One of the many reasons I want to run the London marathon for Mind is because I have personally grown up with people struggling with their mental health. I have always wanted to help these people, but I dont always know how to, sometimes I have not even been aware until its too late.

I think there should be more communication and help out there for people who are in a bad place and for others around them. We are all in this together and something that may seem so small, might mean the world to someone else.

I am aware that mental health issues are on the rise and the NHS is struggling to cope, my mum is a nurse and has whitness this first hand; that's why I think mental health charities like Mind are more imperitive than ever.

So for me it is just 26+ miles for a cause that is so close to me, and I really appreciate anyone that chooses to sponsor me through this.
