My Story

My name is James and in April 2023 I am going to be taking part in the London Marathon. I have been inspired to run the Marathon and raise funds for the National Autistic Society by my Son, Harry.

Harry was diagnosed with Autism in May 2022. In the short time since Harry’s diagnosis, The National Autistic Society have been of great comfort to us at a difficult and trying time. With their support we all feel better equipped to deal with whatever challenges may come our way.

Harry is so loved and is the bravest, most remarkable young person that I have ever met (I appreciate that I would say that) and I am totally in awe of how he goes happily about his life, with a massive smile constantly on his face. I hope that by running the Marathon I will make Harry proud and improve Autism awareness in the area that I live in.
