My Story

As some of you will know I have been training for the 2023 London Marathon. Training for this marathon has been really difficult and whilst some people make it look easy I can promise it has not been for me! After 4 years of injury’s and COVID postponement years I have finally got to the last week and despite also suffering from multiple injuries whilst training this year as well I can finally say I will be on that start line on Sunday!

As well as hopefully proving to myself I can actually finish a Marathon I will also be running to raise funds and awareness for ME Research UK who are a charity which funds research into ME and Chronic Fatigue. ME has effected a lot of people I love throughout my life and we still don't know very much about it and new research is critical to understanding it further. It would mean a lot to me if you could donate or alternatively visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/chronic-fatigue-syndrome-cfs/ to learn a little bit more about ME. Your donation will definitely spur me on to finish and hopefully after Sunday I will never have to bore any of you or myself with talking about Marathons again!
