My Story

This year after 16 years of entering the ballot, and 2 virtual London marathons, I am finally running the London marathon. This year I am running for scleroderma and Reynauds uk. As some of you may know or not know my mum has scleroderma. This is a rare and devastating autoimmune disease that slowly attacks your body, including your heart and lungs. There is no cure and more money is needed to help with support, research and treatment to help those that have it. This is why I am running.  I also suffer with Raynauds mysyelf. This is a precursor to scleroderma. As yet I don’t know if it will progress, either way I am running whilst I can, to show support and raise money for a charity that really makes a difference.
