Kate Vs the London Marathon (all 26.2 miles of it!)

My Story
What an honour to be granted a place to run for Amnesty!
Amnesty
Amnesty campaign for justice wherever it has been denied. They protect people, defending their right to freedom, truth and dignity. They do this by investigating and exposing abuses, galvanising their global movement of seven million people and educating future generations so that one day the dream of human rights for all becomes a reality.
Why the London Marathon?
I hobbled around the London Marathon for the first time almost 4 years ago and did so absolutely riddled with injury. Against physio advice (naughty, I know) my friends and family got me around on cheers, waves, smiles and claps alone. It's time for me to tackle those 26.2 miles again but this time stronger and injury free (PLEASE).
I know that this will be more of a mental battle than a physical one. Being in my own head for that many hours throughout the gruelling training schedule and on-the-day run is not a pleasant experience for me. So, this is all the more reason to get on and do the thing that my inner voice will no doubt try to convince me that I can't...
Hope to see you on the sidelines!
