My Story

In memory of my mum's 70th birthday which falls on the day of the London Marathon 23/4/23.

I have chosen to run for MDS Patient Support UK. MDS, or myelodysplastic syndromes, are a relatively rare group of blood / bone marrow cancers. This cause is important to me because my mum was diagnosed with MDS 6 years ago. I know she would be very proud of me achieving this goal for a great cause.

The money I raise will help the charity reach more patients and their families affected by MDS.

I would also like to raise awareness of this condition, and encourage people to think about giving blood or joining the bone marrow donor register if they can.
