My Story

Hello! I am taking on the TCS London Marathon in 2023 for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. 

I am fortunate to have worked with many serving personnel in my role as a civil servant.  They are exemplary, brilliant and hard working individuals who sacrifice a lot to serve our Armed Forces.  I hope to raise money for SSAFA to support serving personnel and veterans.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of practical, emotional, and financial support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. In 2021 our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 66,000 people, from Second World War veterans to those who have served in more recent conflicts, or currently serving (both regulars and reserves), and their families.

SSAFA and I understand that behind every uniform is a person. And the charity are here for that person and their family, any time they need them and in any way they need.
