My Story

Hello! And thanks for getting this far...

I’m running to raise money for the Epilepsy Society after my brother learned to live with an Epilepsy diagnosis just over 5 years ago. It’s a life-changing condition that can affect anyone at any age & it can be scary to understand, but the Epilepsy Society were a source of information and support for our family. Thankfully, Fearg is iconic and I’m constantly amazed by how he, and other friends, have adapted to life with an epilepsy diagnosis.

Anyone who runs the marathon is a hero in my eyes and I’ve watched incredible friends smash it over the last couple of years so naturally the FOMO has kicked in. Organised sports have always been my downfall  and the idea of training for 4 months makes me want to run (or walk) away, but I’m pleased to be doing it for an incredible charity.

I know times are tough for everyone and it’s a long way to the start line but if you’d like to donate, I’ll think of you through every training mile.
