Alzheimer's Society is a cause close to my heart as my gran's own dementia has got worse over the years. Unfortunately, she is now in a home and has very little recollection of who I am. Before gran entered a care home, I saw the battle mum faced every day caring for her; Alzheimer's Society offers help, advice and support for sufferers and carers. Plus, they are funding research to discover more about the root causes of Alzheimer's and dementia.
