My Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

In April 2023, I will be running in the London Marathon for action for children.

Running for action for children is also something very special to me, they are a charity that take part in a subject very relatable to me.

Having spent majority of my life in foster care, having grown up with no Mum or dad in my life . I entered the care system at a very young age. and having a bad experience with social services and how terrible they was , I was very lucky to find the best foster carers . I personally don't think I could have been luckier.

I was very lucky to be fostered by two incredible people.
I was welcomed into a new home and became apart of a family. These are now my Mum and Dad.

Being fostered or being the foster carer is not a easy task from both sides. There are many emotions as you could imagine.

The task of a foster carer is incredible, they take such a major role in a child's life , they help with caring , loving , education, well being , and sometimes helping them grow from a child to an adult. Depending if it is short or long term fostering. Many of the children in care have experienced trauma in their childhood. This could be due to abuse, neglect or exploitation. They need a lot of love and support.

I would be so greatfull for any donation as this could help a child like my self find a very caring loving parent to look after them and give them a  better life.
