My Story

Several years ago I lost my father in law to motor neurone disease. As a neurologist I have dealt with this disease many times but nothing makes you face it quite like loosing a loved one.

This is the cruelest disease and we are starting to make strides.

Roger had run the London marathon and I ran last time for him and matched his time to the second by pure coincidence.or destiny.

I have a ballott place again and I believe he had a hand in this because he wants me to beat his time and help beat this disease.

My hospital is building a new MND care centre in Leeds and I am coaching several athletes running the Rob Burrow Leeds marathon for that cause.  So 2023 is the time to fight back against MND.
