My Story

I know I said back in 2019 that I would never run another marathon…well I have been very fortunate to receive a charity place in this year’s London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April. I will be running to support The Princess Alexandra Hospital Charity in Harlow - my local hospital. The charity enhances patient care, purchases special equipment, improves facilities and invests in vital research. One current project involves fundraising for a new retinal scanning machine for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which helps to reduce blindness in babies.

Chris my boss and his wife Ginny, both received excellent care from the nurses at the hospital’s Bevan ward during their cancer treatment and Chris’s Mum and Dad were also cared for at the Princess Alexandra after their car accident.  It would be great to give something back to the charity to recognise its hard work and dedication.  I would be very grateful for your support.

Thank  you
