7 Marathons in 7 Days to Raise £7,000!

My Story

In April it will be 25 years since I ran my first ever marathon – it was the London Marathon and I ran it for the charity Afasic.

So, to mark this and also the milestone of turning 60, I have decided to pound the streets of London once more on Sunday 23rd April to raise much needed funds for Afasic. And just to make it a bit more of a challenge – I will in fact be running 7 marathons in 7 days, culminating with the London Marathon!

The cumulative effort over the week will certainly take its toll and my wife (Jan) is questioning my sanity. To help keep me motivated and moving when my ageing body starts to ache, please donate what you can – it really will help to make a difference to me, to Afasic and to the children and families that they support.

Afasic is a small and little known charity and anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated. Afasic helps children, young people and their families affected by speech, language and communication needs and has been helping children to communicate since 1968.

Thank you.

Mark
