My Story

I'm running the 2023 London Marathon for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a fantastic charity I've been supporting for many years now.

9 years ago my Son became seriously ill shortly after being born and spent the first weeks of his life in NICU. It was then he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF), a genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people in the UK. CF causes a wide range of challenging symptoms, requiring a significant amount of daily medication and management. Despite some amazing medical breakthroughs, there is currently no cure.

The CF Trust fund cutting edge research, campaign and provide information and support for people with CF and their families. I'm proud to support them by running this, my second marathon. Being in my 40s and with a dodgy knee, I must be a glutton for punishment- but I'm determined to give it my best shot! Any donation, however small, is much appreciated.

Thank you,

Michelle.
