My Story

I will be running the 2023 London Marathon for Brain Research UK in memory of my nan, Linda Chilvers who passed suddenly from a brain aneurysm.

Linda was a selfless, compassionate and loving woman who would go the extra mile for anyone. She is missed dearly but her legacy lives on always, especially in Shuffles School of Dance where the 'Linda Chilvers Award' is handed out yearly to a student for their outstanding performance.

  • 1 in 6 people have a neurological condition
  • More under 40s are killed by brain tumours than any other cancer
  • Every 90 seconds someone is admitted to hospital with a brain injury
