My Story

I'm delighted to be running the 2023 London Marathon for the Alzheimer's Society and Insurance United Against Dementia.

My experience with Alzheimer's started when my Grandmother was diagnosed with dementia when I was a teenager. Not only did I see her deteriorate and at points not recognise me or my Mum, I also saw the toll it took on my Mum who had to do a lot of the caring for her.

Given my family's experience and the fact that this will affect so many of us through our lives I urge you to give generously whilst I put 18 stones through a 26.2 mile run. I'll even spare you the photos!
