My Story

Hi to all my friends and family and supporters, 

As most of you may already know. I will be running The London Marathon this April.

I am super excited as this is something that I have wanted to do for a few years.

After applying for a place with the London Marathon Ballot for a few years running, and then having no success and being left feeling full of disappointment of being turned down once again. 

I thought that I would try my luck and apply for a Charity Place. 

So you can imagine how thrilled I was, to be offered a chance to run with The Childhood First Charity.

 I would like to provide a little insight about this Charity so that you can get a understanding of who they are and what they do.

Childhood First is a small charity, which looks after and supports children from the age of 5 to 18 years of age.

The Charity provides class - leading residential care, treatment and therapeutic education.

To these young children whom have suffered severe abuse, neglect and early life trauma.

Providing residential homes and special schools.

Of course along with excitement and feeling nervous I soon realised that I had work to do.

Now along with Training hard, I also have the huge challenge of Raising Funds.

So my dear friends and Family I am turning to you, in the hope that for those of you that are willing and able to donate even the smallest of amounts to this worthy charity. I would be so greatful.

I know and appreciate that for a lot of people times are hard. I'm sure that donating will not be on the top of your priorities.

So I am gently appealing to you, to please dig as deep as you can.

Inturn you will not only be supporting the Charity to continue their good work. but you will also be supporting me in my efforts to reach my target.
