My Story
A message from my dear friend Helen, who I am fundraising for:
Hi my name is Helen lewis. I have known Paula for so many years and feel so touched that she is running the London marathon and contributing to myeloma charity.
I was diagnosed with myeloma cancer six years ago. I went through treatment and had a stem cell transplant. Myeloma cancer at that stage could not be cured so I knew it would come back at some stage. I was lucky to have my six years but in November I was told it was back. My doctor told me that in the six years since I was first diagnosed so many new treatments for myeloma have been developed. This has given me such hope for the future. I realise that the charities are funding all the research for cancer. Your donations will go directly to very important research giving hope to people like me xxx
