My Story

I'm running the London Marathon in April 2023 in support of Parkinson's UK.

My sister Elaine has Parkinson's. She was diagnosed when she was only 50  and the progressive nature of the disease means she is no longer able to work and enjoy many of the things she used to.

But she is determined not to let the disease win, and will do her best to enjoy life and her lovely family, espeically the grandchildren. Parkinson's UK have helped her in a number of ways like dance classes to help her movement and speech classes - 'Loud' - to help her make sure her voice contunues to be heard.

I'd like to raise as much as possible both to help find a cure and to support the society in helping those currently living with Parkinson's. I really appreciate any donations to this end,

Thank you,

Richard

PS I'll be posting more udates as the marathon gets closer, so do come back!
