Having a loss of such a great friend and a true hero to such a illness need I say more.

My name is David and some will know me as John the hairdresser. I as many have unfortunately been touched by the loss of a very dear friend to this relentless illnesses.

My friend Steve fought as only he could against this disease. A former Paratrooper and SAS soldier he was use to a battle but due to the nature of this cancer an earlier diagnosis would possibly have given him a greater fighting chance. I have decided to enter the challenge of the London marathon in the memory of Steve Searle and to give him the pleasure to see me suffer the coming months and the day itself.
