My Story

Hello my name is Sam! I ride, train and sell horses for my living and it is my number one passion. Unfortunately brain and spine injuries are something that are hugely prevalent in our sport and unfortunately many people get affected.

Last year I had a bleed on the brain after an accident where I fell from my horse in competition. I was lucky to make a very good recovery thanks to some amazing professionals who work in the brain and spine industry.

I feel an obligation to give something back to try to support the people who helped me and to also help other people in the future who may be affected by similar and also more dramatic injuries.

I would really appreciate your help in raising funds for this fabulous and much needed charity

I am by no means Mo Farah and will not be setting any records while running this marathon, but I will give my all to give it the best attempt possible. If you wish to follow my progress I will be updating the majority of my training on my Strava account.
