My Story

Hi! I'm Sami and I am so excited to be running to support such an incredible cause like PDSA. It's charities like them that make having pets and animals safe that much easier. These vets and people involved help people afford the high cost of vetrinary bills, especially if you truly can't. For many, pets are so much more than just a furry friend, they are truly companions, family for most. But inevitably family can get sick and we can't alway afford the bill, that's where PDSA steps in. PDSA is the leading vet charity in the UK, they help sick and injured pets even if you can't afford the high bills. They also every year, have dedicated teams at our 48 Pet Hospitals work tirelessly to provide 1.8 million veterinary treatments – including 440,000 preventative treatments. This helps over 470,000 much-loved pets and brings peace of mind to 300,000 owners.

PDSA are a leading authority on all things concerning pet health and wellbeing: whether its leading the debate on pet obesity, conducting Britain’s biggest annual pet wellbeing survey, raising the status of animals or simply celebrating their contribution to our lives.

I'm running for them because without charities like them, so many wouldn't know the joy of having a furry companion. I can't tell you how important having mine is, Lucky is family and knowing that PDSA even exists if he ever does get sick, is a peace of mind. Thank you truly in advance for your donations, you never know it might be you in need of it one day.
