My Story

No child should feel unhappy, unhealthy or lonely.  Sport and play has the power to transform a child's life in so many ways - it can improve their happiness, health, confidence, skills, and friendships. But children today face many challenges and millions of young people are missing out on the benefits of play and sport.

Sport has always been a key part of my life and I now do my best to support my own children to be active. I can see the positive impact it has on all of us and I would just love every child to be able to experience the same sorts of benefits.

So this is why I am taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for the Youth Sport Trust.  This is going to be a tough challenge for me - physically, mentally, and also just finding the time to train amongst a busy family life! But I want to use this opportunity to support the Youth Sport Trust in creating a future where every child has access to high quality play and sport and enjoys the life-changing benefits of this. I also hope to play a small part in inspiring people to get active - if I can do this then anyone can!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this page and I hope you can help me complete this challenge in any way you can - donations always welcome or simply just some encouragement and motivation to keep me going.
