My Story

I am running the London Marathon this year with my Brother Reiss for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in memory of my Mum, Debbie Lea, who sadly passed away on Tuesday 19th January 2021. She lost her battle with lung cancer after being diagnosed in June 2019 at Queens Hospital. After only being given a few months to live, the amazing treatment that she received at The Royal Marsden gave us all that extra time to be together.

For those who knew my Mum, she loved life, was always smiling and was taken away far too early. She was an amazing woman and taught me so much in life, so many special memories together as a family that i will treasure forever. I will be thinking of my Mum throughout the training and even more so on the day and hope she will be looking down on us to give us that extra push.

As a family, we have currently raised just over £30,000 for the charity already, but would love to add to that so this amazing charity can carry on helping families and maybe one day find a cure.

So please donate however big or small that you can, every penny will help.

Come and join us on the day to cheer us on and for a beer after!!

Wish me luck!!
