My Story

I am running the London Marathon this year to raise funds for Children's Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF). My daughter, Lily, received a Liver Transplant at only 14 months old at Leeds General Infirmary. Lily's donor was her mum and my wife, Lianne. My wife and daughter are inspirations to me, and as such I wanted to challenge myself to raise funds for the charity that has helped my family over the years post-transplant.

CLDF relies on donations to continue to support families and young people who are affected by childhood liver disease. As a trustee of the charity, I want to do all I can to raise as much as possible, so any donation that you can make is massively appreciated.

Lily is now a healthy, happy 9 year old girl and big sister to Luca. She never stopped smiling when she went through the operation or when she encountered numerous setbacks along the way. She is an absolute inspiration, and as such if we can raise as much as we can for her I would be very grateful.
