My Story
Woking and Sam Beare Hospice provides palliative and end of life care across North West Surrey covering six Surrey Boroughs. Every year the Hospice delivers exceptional care and support to around 2,000 patients, carers and family members with 80% of our care being delivered in patient homes.
As Chairman of the Charity it is a real honour for me to be running the London Marathon on Sunday, 23 April to raise funds to support the brilliant service our teams of doctors, nurses, health care assistants, counsellors and therapists provide every day of the year.
I ran the London Marathon for the Hospice in 2019, raising just over £4,000 – it would be great if I could reach £5,000 this year.
