Toby Anderson Running the London Marathorn for mum

My Story

My Mum, Marianne was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2017 and within just weeks of her diagnosis passed away. It was a great shock to learn that my mum had cancer but then, an evener bigger shock to see her health deteriorate so quickly.  To have our mother taken so quickly, was so cruel.

unfortantely, my mum wasnt alone. More than 50% of those people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months.

As I turn 50 in 2023 I wanted to run the London Marathorn in memory of my mum, and to help raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK so that they can fund vital research into this cancer - that has not seen improvement in survival rates unlike the significant improvements that have been made in other cancers, and in supporting people affected by the cancer.

This will be a big challenge for me, but made easier with your kind and generous donations. Thank you
