My Story

I first came across Genesis Trust Bath in 2019 whilst living and working in Vietnam. Although we were able to help and support our community in Ho Chi Minh during the pandemic, my family and I felt distanced from our friends, family, and the communities back in Bath. Unable to help directly, we read about Genesis Trust and the fantastic work it did to support those in need.

On our return to the UK, we further explored other ways to show our support and with my passion for running, looking for sponsorship for the forthcoming London marathon was an obvious choice. Genesis Trust makes a difference for those who need it. The charity supports disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the local area and provides compassionate help to support people with their immediate needs and journey with them as they gain confidence, learn new skills, overcome challenges and make choices to restore and rebuild their lives.

I appreciate times are hard but any support would be greatly appreciated and will go towards making a real difference to those who most need our help.
