My Story

In 2018, we lost our beautiful friend Emma to cancer at the age of 36. For 6 years Em embraced her journey with positivity and hope and never let her cancer define her.
She was an inspiration to us all ❤️

Since we lost Em, life hast been the same for us and she is held so closely in our hearts.
I really wanted to raise money and give back to the Royal Marsden, not only because it's where Emma was supported on her journey but also because I witnessed myself just how incredible the hospital is and for all they do.

The London marathon was a yearly tradition where we would all go and watch it (via many pubs) and Emma always loved this day out. So it feels both emotional and surreal that I now have a place to take part and run this for her and the Royal Marsden.

I am not a runner by nature so this will both be a physical and mental challenge for me to run the 26 miles but if you know me I like a challenge!

The training has started and I've swapped my heels for trainers while I undertake the training for this event. I know it will be an emotional rollercoaster to do this but I am excited to complete it and raise money for this amazing charity.

Any donation will be hugely appreciated - thank you!

This is for you Em ❤️
