As a society, we are failing to support people as they struggle to afford the basics. This just isn’t right.

Turn2us helps to shine a light on the issues for people facing financial insecurity and by tackling poverty in the UK we can provide a lifeline to people in crisis. We work alongside those who have experienced not having enough money to live on and to help them cope with life-changing events, which we know can quickly turn into financial crisis.We do this through our helpline which provides vital information regarding the support available to them.
Additionally, we offer direct cash grants and give people the tools they need to access benefits through our benefits calculator, or other grant funds.

There are 14.5 million people in the UK currently living in poverty, and this is set to rise. An unacceptable amount of people all over the country are being plunged into financial crisis and having to make desperate choices to make ends meet. We know parents should not go days without eating so their children can be fed, we know people shouldn’t have to sit in the dark so they can feel warmth in the winter months, and we know everyone deserves a life where they are able to afford the essentials. But unfortunately, this is the reality that so many are facing and it is set to worsen as the winter months hit.
